The best way is the eco-friendly and effective way!

In a microwave-safe glass bowl, add one tablespoon of white vinegar.
Microwave on high for five minutes. This process will steam up the walls of the microwave and loosen the dried-on gunk.
Carefully remove the glass bowl and wipe down the inside of the microwave with a clean rag or paper towel.
Once clean, you can place some baking soda in a microwave-safe plate inside the microwave to absorb any unwanted odours.
